Whitby Minor Baseball Association is shaking things up in 2025!

In lieu of our standard convenor build format, we will be offering a "Skills Day" on Saturday April 26, 2025 (location and time to be announced).  All registered players in this age group will be invited to participate in a wide range of baseball skill evaluations provided by some of the best coaches, players, and volunteers in the city.  Coaches who have signed up to run a team in the division this year will have the opportunity to observe and use the information collected to select the players who will be on their team for the season. The outcome is to create a more balanced group of teams and thus a more competitive division.  


To make this event possible, the WMBA is doing an early call for Head Coaches at the 14/15U age group. Each registered Head Coach will be allowed to choose one Assistant Coach.  Initial pre-draft team rosters will consist of the player from the household of the Head Coach and the Assistant Coach, with all other players to be drafted.  Coach applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Draft order will be based on when a Head Coach confirms their commitment by registering via the WMBA website.
