WMBA House League Request Policy

The WMBA wishes to create balanced teams to allow fair games for all participants. On occasion, it is possible that some registration requests can seemingly conflict with the balancing of teams. To that end, the WMBA request policy is as follows:

• Playing participants may request to play with a friend, however, the request must be mutual, with one player requesting one other player, and must be reciprocal (i.e. both players must request each other).  This rule does not apply to siblings who are in the same division.
• There is a limit of 1 (one) request per player, and the request must be for a fellow registered player.
• Requests made for playing on a specific team or with a specific coach will not be prioritized and will be reviewed on a case specific basis.
• While all requests received before March 31 will be considered, it is important to note that not all requests can be guaranteed.
• Greater consideration will be given to requests which include a commitment to a parent volunteering for a head coach position.
• In order for requests to be considered, they must be sent directly by email to the convenor of the age group the player is regsitered in.
